Frequently asked questions
-
No. You’re welcome whether this is your first reading or something you’ve explored before. You don’t need to meditate or consider yourself intuitive. Curiosity and a willingness to take part in the conversation are enough.
-
As little as possible to begin with. I prefer to tune in and share my first impressions before hearing about you or your background. This lets me approach the reading with fewer preconceptions. We can then explore any questions you have. Honest feedback is welcome, and you never need to agree just to be polite.
-
Yes. I’ve had plenty of questions and doubts myself, and I respect yours. I place importance on the intention we both bring to the session. Please note that I find it harder to tune in when the interaction is deliberately closed off, with no feedback, a fixed poker face or misleading information offered as a test.
You don’t need to perform enthusiasm or hide your doubts. Simply tell me honestly what does and does not make sense. If the connection isn’t there, either of us can say so under the ten-minute policy below.
-
Through subtle pictures, feelings and sometimes words that I hear inwardly or see in my mind’s eye. Clairvoyance describes the visual aspect, clairsentience the feeling aspect and clairaudience the inward hearing. I describe what I receive as clearly as I can, then explore anything that needs clarification without forcing it to fit.
-
I sometimes use oracle or angel cards. They can offer interesting prompts for reflection, and I’m happy to include them if you’d like. You can let me know at the beginning of your reading.
-
I don’t offer fixed predictions. If I sense a possible outcome, I treat it as an impression of your current direction. Your choices, the free will of others and changing circumstances can all affect what happens next. No reading takes away your ability to choose.
-
Mediumship often arises during my readings, but I cannot guarantee contact with a particular person. In my way of working, I stay open to what your spirit entourage may bring forward, including something that feels more pressing in the moment. That is how I understand the process, rather than a certainty about why a particular person does or does not appear. An absence of contact is not evidence of rejection.
-
Readers work differently and may focus on different aspects of a situation. We can also misunderstand an impression or simply get something wrong. A contradiction is not something you have to explain away or make fit.
You’re welcome to ask me to clarify what I mean. Take time to consider it alongside your own experience and the facts available to you. You don’t need to keep booking readings to settle a disagreement between readers, and neither reading should override professional advice or your own judgement.
-
Yes — this is a part of the work I particularly enjoy. Many people come wanting to talk through their experiences, consider what they noticed and explore what it might mean to them. There is room to do that without rushing to a conclusion.
A reading does not establish the cause of an experience or assess your mental health. That belongs with qualified mental health professionals, whose work I value. Consulting a psychologist is part of my own self-care routine.
-
We can explore how a situation feels to you and what I sense around it energetically. That may offer perspective on something you’re facing or help you put words to your response. It does not tell you which investment, legal action, treatment or life decision to choose.
I do not diagnose, prescribe, or provide medical, legal or financial advice. Even if I receive an impression relating to a physical sensation, I am not qualified to name an illness. An incorrect label could create unnecessary worry or interfere with appropriate care. Please take health concerns to a medical practitioner and do not change treatment on the basis of a reading.
-
If either of us feels that the reading is not connecting within the first ten minutes of the reading itself, we can stop. You can choose a full refund or reschedule at no additional charge. Please speak up early so we can address it together. This policy is additional to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
-
My readings are one-to-one, and I ask that you attend on your own so we can focus on you and you can speak freely. If you need an interpreter or support person for accessibility, please contact me before booking so we can discuss what will work.
-
Yes, I treat your reading and what you share as confidential. I do not share session content without your permission, except where disclosure is required or permitted by law, including a serious safety concern. Readings are for adults aged 18 and over. Please see the Privacy Policy for how booking and personal information are handled.
-
You may record your reading with my permission. Please ask before starting any recording. Recordings are for your personal use; please do not publish or share them without my agreement. You’re also welcome to take written notes.
-
Read about my approach, listen to your intuition, and get in touch if you have a brief question. If it feels like a good fit, trying a session can help you decide, with the ten-minute policy there if we do not connect. Choosing a reader is personal. There are many talented practitioners with different styles; you’re welcome to take your time finding an approach that suits you. There is no pressure to keep booking if it doesn’t feel right.
